Nestled in the Upper Gascoyne region, Mount Augustus Tourist Park offers a true outback adventure. Whether you’re traveling with a caravan, camper, or tent, our spacious powered and unpowered campsites provide the perfect place to stay. Sit back and watch as the colors of Mount Augustus (Burringurrah), the world’s largest rock—twice the size of Uluru—change throughout the day.

Our park is equipped with modern amenities, including hot showers, toilets, a BBQ area, laundry facilities, a dump point, and accessible amenities. For those seeking extra comfort, we offer onsite accommodation, ranging from twin rooms to self-contained family units.

After a day of exploring, enjoy a meal at our Tavern, where we serve Shorthorn beef straight from Mount Augustus Station, paired with an ice-cold beer.

The park’s shop is stocked with essential supplies, including diesel and unleaded fuel, gas refills, tyres, and minor repair services.

With so much to explore, stay as long as you like to discover scenic hiking trails, the tranquil Cattle Pool, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from our lookouts, ancient Aboriginal rock art, diverse birdlife, and seasonal wildflowers.

Encircling Mount Augustus is a 53km loop drive, offering a journey through rocky creeks, deep gorges, open plains, and a diverse array of wildlife.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It’s a remote location and not easy to get to but you will be rewarded with seeing the world’s biggest rock. There are easy and challenging trails to do and seeing its treasures such as Aboriginal engravings The ever changing colour of the rock  and the remoteness make it an amazing place.

Several trails from short to medium (2.7-5km) and the diehard summit trail (13km return). The Cattle Pool is the only water body in this area. The only camping or accommodation is at the Mt Augustus Tourist Park. Nearly Emu Hill Lookout is great for sunrise viewing. Be aware no dogs allowed in the National Park area.
